Hard Coating Equipment

Since VTD was founded,  equipment for the deposition of hard materials on tools and components played a key role. Since then a wide variety of batch and inline systems have been successfully delivered to national and international customers using arc and sputter technology. Many of these systems are still in production today and are supported by the VTD in-house service.

The DREVA-platform is our current generation of hard coating equipment. DREVA coating systems are the essence of decades-long finetuning, engineering refinements and process development.

The technical concept of all VTD hard coating systems  provides  high degree of process flexibility. The modular structure of the platform ensures task-oriented adaptation of the technological components. This equipment configuration flexibility enables customers to developed unique selling points and an advanced market position.

The VTD product portfolio for hard coating equipment includes:

  - The DREVA hard coating equipment product line for small to large throughput requirements
  - Multi-chamber (inline) systems for coating applications in industrial mass production
  - Turnkey project planning and delivery of complete coating centers including substrate pre- and posttreatment
